Midi files are small downloads that play music through the sound card on your computer. The midi files on this site give you backing tracks for the pieces they are listed alongside. How do I make them play? Click on them with your left mouse button. The file will either play automatically, or a midi player will load up the file and wait for you to press the play button Can I save the file? Yes. Click on the file with your right mouse button.  A grey box opens up. Choose "Save Target As..." You can now save the file onto your hard drive to play any time you want (you don't need to be online to do this) Practice on the file below... It is some spooky sounding HALLOWE'EN music! First, Left click to see what happens, and then Right click and choose "Save Target As..." The computer will suggest a name and a place to save the file.
